I visited the Netherlands a few years back and was really taken with the beautiful blue and white pottery that was everywhere. I knew I had to re-create this with the Cup of Tea bundle and starry sky In Colour.
Project Recipe
Card Base: cut basic white cardstock 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".
First layer is starry sky cardstock cut at 5 1/4" by 4".
Second layer: cut basic white cardstock at 5" by 3 3/4" Emboss the paper using a floral embossing folder of choice.
Stamp three cup images using starry sky ink then cut out using the corresponding die. Colour the leafy images on the cups with stampin' blends. I used starry sky.
Die cut some of the tiny hearts and flowers from the Teacup dies. Use a DSP of choice.
Choose a favourite label (I used one from the retiring Ornate Frames Dies) and stamp your sentiment. I used one from the Cup of Tea stamp set and starry sky ink. Glue your sentiment on some DSP and fussy cut a thin border to make it stand out.
To hang the cups, use a piece of wooden bbq skewer and colour it using a starry sky stampin' blend. Thread the cups onto the skewer and secure in place with strong adhesive.
Assemble your card then embellish as you see fit.
