Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, foil sheets, and vellum pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Pretty Peacock Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of Pretty Peacock wavy lattice design from 2019-2021 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" of Old Olive Vellum Cardstock from Perennial Essence 12" x 12" Vellum Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" of Pretty Peacock Foil Sheet from Noble Peacock Foil Sheets
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" of Old Olive Foil Sheet from Noble Peacock Foil Sheets
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Old Olive Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Darling Label Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top to protect the mat from ink.
Mount the floral thanks label image from the Darling Label Punch Box on the block included in the box. Ink up the stamp with the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad. Stamp on one end of the white strip of cardstock and set aside to let dry. Leave the stamp on the block.
Adhere the piece of Pretty Peacock Designer Paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to the front of the Pretty Peacock card.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Slide in the Old Olive Vellum Cardstock strip and punch.
Using SNAIL Adhesive in the center only, adhere the Old Olive vellum circle punch out to the lower right side of the card front so it is about 3/4" from the right side and about 1" from the bottom.
Unlock the Leaf Punch. Slide in the Old Olive Foil Sheet strip and punch. Repeat with the Pretty Peacock Foil Sheet strip.
Use the Mango Melody Marker to carefully color in the flower petals on the floral thanks label image.
Use the Old Olive Marker to carefully color in the leaves and stems on the floral thanks label image.
Unlock the Darling Label Punch from the box. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped and colored floral thanks label image into the punch. Carefully line up the image so it is centered in the punching area. Punch.
Lay the punched out label upside down in front of you. Place the two foil leaf punch outs on top of each with the foil side down so they are sticking out from the upper right corner of the punched out label. Place a Stampin' Dimensional over the ends of the stems to hold the leaf punch outs in place. Add a couple more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the label punch out.
Tip: When you turn the label right side up, the leaf punch outs should be foil side up as well and sticking out from the upper left corner.
Remove the protective backings from the Stampin' Dimensionals and adhere the label punch out with leaf punch outs attached to the center of the vellum circle on the card front.
Re-ink the floral thanks label image from the Darling Label Punch Box on the block with the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad. Stamp on the scrap of Old Olive Cardstock so you get the word "thanks."
Carefully cut out the word "thanks" using Paper Snips. Leave a bit of a border around the line outlining the word.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the cut out word over the word on the colored label punch out.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it is angled and centered in the notch on the lower right side of the label punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up one large Old Olive rhinestone, one medium Pretty Peacock rhinestone, and one small Pretty Peacock rhinestone from a sheet of Noble Peacock Rhinestones being sure to get adhesives as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
