Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 4" x 9-3/4" of tiny pink hearts on red background design from Snail Mail Designer Series Paper, cut so the hearts are right side up on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 1-1/2" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
Fold together a Love You Always Treat Box using a Bone Folder.
Fill the box with treats and close it up.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the short sides of the BACK of the Snail Mail Designer Paper strip. Put lines of Stampin' Seal down the BACK side of the designer paper strip as well.
Remove the protective backing from one of the short strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive. Start adhering the designer paper to the center of the box sleeve on the bottom of the box. Wrap the paper around the sleeve and crease on the corners as you go. Remove the protective backing from the other short strip of Tear & Tape and adhere the end of the designer paper in place on the bottom of the sleeve.
Mount the donkey holding a rose image from the Darling Donkeys Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the large, vertical white rectangle in the center so you get the head and upper body. Leave room to punch the image out.
Unlock the smooth heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped donkey image into the punch and get the head and upper body centered in the punching area. Punch.
Put the stamped heart punch out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the Dark and Light Real Red Stampin' Blends to color in the rose.
Use the Dark and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color in the stem and leaf on the rose.
Use the Light Real Red Stampin' Blends to color in the insides of the donkey's ears.
Use the Dark and Light Smoky Slate and Dark and Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the donkey. Leave his teeth white.
Use the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends if needed to remove excess color.
Unlock the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Slide the Real Red strip into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the colored donkey heart punch out to the center of the scalloped red heart punch out.
Adhere the matted heart punch outs to the top of the box sleeve at a slight angle so they are centered top to bottom and about 1/2" from the left edge.
Mount the "Hee haw!" sentiment from the Darling Donkeys Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining small strip of white cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment by hand.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the top of the box sleeve so it overlaps the upper right side of the hearts.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 white hearts from a sheet of Resin Hearts making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the top of the box sleeve in a rough triangle to the right of the heart punch outs just under the sentiment.
