A s I child I used to love picking dandelions and blowing on them while making a wish. Now as an adult I love making cards with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set! Pair it with the Love What You Do stamp set and you have a great card!
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock to the following measurements:
- Daffodil Delight 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (card base)
- Basic Black 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" (background piece)
- Whisper White 4-3/8" x 3-1/8" (for stamping images)
- Whisper White 5-1/4" x 4" (inside piece)
Score Daffodil Delight cardstock at 5-1/2" then run half of the cardstock through the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder using the Big Shot
Stamp large background image from Love What You Do stamp set with Daffodil Delight ink onto the Whisper White 4-3/8" x 3-1/8" piece toward the right-hand side. Use the Stampin' Pierce Mat to get a good image.
Stamp "It's a beautiful day" sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the same Whisper White piece in the lower righthand side. Use the Stampin' Pierce Mat to get a good image.
Stamp the same Whisper White piece with the large single Dandelion stamp.
Cut a 4" strip of the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon then glue ends to the backside of the stamped 4-3/8" x 3-18" piece using Snail Adhesive.
The cut two 3" pieces of the Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine and knot them onto the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and cut down. Unravel the ends of the Baker's Twine.
Using the liquid glue adhere the basic black piece onto the embossed side of the card base. Using the liquid glue will make a strong bond on an embossed piece.
Then glue down the stamped Whisper White piece.
Add a large Rhinestone to the middle of the dandelion then add several of the small rhinestones to the card.
Stamp the smaller loose dandelions the right lower side of the 5-/4" x 4" Whisper White piece and adhere inside the card.
