P retty card for a friend using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pale Papaya Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 6" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the Pale Papaya rectangle into the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Pale Papaya rectangle to the front of the Pale Papaya card.
Cut a 5-1/2" piece of Pale Papaya & White 1/2" Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive horizontally across the center of the horizontal card front about 1-1/2" from the bottom.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape and adhere the ribbon piece to it so it lays horizontally across the horizontal card front.
Mount the "smile," or "friend" sentiment from the Daisy Lane Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one end of the thinner strip of horizontal white cardstock. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Tailored Tag Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area slightly to the right side. Punch. Keep all the pieces.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon about 3/4" from the right edge.
Mount the large daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block D so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it two times on the fatter horizontal strip of white cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down for each daisy. Leave a little space between each daisy so you can punch them out.
Unlock the Daisy Punch (larger one). Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Get one daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch. Repeat until you have punched out both daisies.
Adhere one large daisy punch out to the center of the other large daisy punch out slightly offset to make one full daisy.
Mount the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block C so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining end of the thinner horizontal strip of white cardstock. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch (smaller one). Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Get the daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the small daisy punch out to the center of the large, double daisy.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered daisy to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon and overlaps the left edge of the sentiment punch out a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large Pale Papaya gem from the sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the layered daisy.
