A simple, easy to make card that can be used with any sentiment.
Project Recipe
CUTS
Thick Whisper White
-Cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”. Score at 4 1/2”. This will be the card base. Fold and burnish.
Whisper White
-Cut at 5 1/4” x 4”. This will be for the inside panel
-Cut at 11” x 3”. This is to stamp and punch the daisies.
Designer Series Papar
-Cut one strip at 2” x 6” for the front panel
-Cut another strip at 1” x 4” for the inside panel.
Basic Black
- Punch 2 circles with the 1/2” punch. Alternatively faceted gems could be used for this.
Attach the larger piece of designer series paper to the card base about 7/8” from the top using your favourite adhesive. I like to use Tombow multipurpose glue as it gives a little wiggle room to get it just right. It will be a little longer than the card base. Turn it to the back and trim the exces.
Attach the smaller piece of designer series paper to the 5 1/4 x 4 panel to the right side agout 1/8’” in.
Stamp 4 daisies along the 11” strip of whisper white, leaving enough space between to allow you to punch them out. When you stamp the daisies, be sure you have the top and bottom petals straight up and down to the edge of the paper. This will help to align in the punch.
Punch out all the daisies. You may have to trim as you punch in order to position each stamp in the punch properly.
Place adhesive in the center back of one of the daisies and attach it to another, alternating petals.
Repeat with the other two daisies.
Attach the black circles to the center of the daisies and apply Wink of Stella to the black Centers only for a touch of glimmer.
Stamp a bold sentiment on the bottom white space. I chose to use the Thank You sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set, but any bold sentiment Can be used.
Adhere the two daisies in the area covered by the designer series paper, overlapping onto the white spaces as you find appealing.
Stamp a sentiment of your choice onto the center of the 4 1/4 x 4 Whisper White panel. I also used a smaller flower from the Daisy Delight stamp set in the upper right hand corner, leaving plenty of room to wtite your message.
Adhere this panel to the inside of the base card, and your card is finished and ready to mail!
