U sing ink the same colour as the cardstock results in an effective background for the birthday card. Tried adding Dazzling Diamonds to the embossed greeting - love the results!
Project Recipe
The card base is Sahara Sand Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2” and folded in 1/2 to create standard card size of 5-1/2" x 4-1/4".
Cut Elegant Eggplant Cardstock at 5-1/4" x 4". Use Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink to stamp the 3 small daisy flowers to create a background image. Use Versamark Ink to stamp Happy Birthday, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder, melt with the Heat Tool. While it is still hot, sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds, heat with the heat tool on low. Attach to the card base with Snail Adhesive.
Cut Sahara Sand Cardstock at 4" x 1-1/4". Use Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink to stamp the daisy image near the edge. Attach to Elegant Eggplant layer with Snail Adhesive.
Use the Daisy Punch to punch 2 daisys out of Whisper White Cardstock. Use Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink to stamp the centre of each daisy. Attach one daisy to the second daisy in an offset position using a Glue Dot. Use Stampin' Up! sponge with Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink to colour the ends of the daisy petals. Use the Bone Folder to curl the ends of the daisy petals. Attach to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
