Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of ghosts and little haunted houses on purple background design from Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the ghosts and houses are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 3/4" x 4-1/2" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- medium circle cut from tiny white "boo!" words all over black background design from Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper using the Picture This Dies
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Pumpkin Pie strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cutest Halloween Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "have a fa(boo)lous Halloween" sentiment from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn In Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched orange strip slightly closer to the punched notch with the notch on the left side.
Cut a 5-1/2" piece of the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.
Wrap the ribbon around the right end of the stamped sentiment banner punch out near the end of the sentiment. Tie in place with a knot. Trim the ends.
Adhere the circle of "boo!" words designer paper to the right edge of the large piece of horizontal designer paper so it is about 1" from the bottom and hangs over the right edge a bit. Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off the bit that hangs over the edge.
Tip: Use a circle cut out from a previous project.
Adhere the sentiment banner punch out strip with ribbon tied on it to the bottom of the large, horizontal designer paper piece so it covers the bottom of the circle cut out just a bit. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off the excess on the right side.
Adhere the large designer paper piece with circle and sentiment banner punch out attached to the center of the Basic Black rectangle and then to the front of the Pumpkin Pie card.
Mount the outline ghost image from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom edge of the long, skinny white strip.
Mount the ghost face and arms image from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the ghost image.
Unlock the Halloween Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped ghost outline image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Adhere the ghost punch out to the front of the card so it overlaps the left edge of the "boo!" words circle and the top edge of the sentiment banner punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three different sizes of Pumpkin Pie and shimmery black stars from the sheet of Cute Stars Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card above the sentiment banner punch out strip.
