P retty fall card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, metallic paper, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Mint Macaron Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" from Galvanized Metallic Paper
- 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 4-3/8" of mint milk jug flower arrangements and pumpkins on very pale green background of Country Lane Designer Series Paper
- 3" square from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock
Insert the Galvanized Metallic Paper rectangle into the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so that the corrugations will be horizontal across the strip. Use the thin line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line up the paper and get it straight. Place the folder with the paper inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Put some strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the dry embossed galvanized paper rectangle. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape. Adhere the galvanized paper rectangle to the long, thin Blackberry Bliss rectangle.
Adhere the matted galvanized paper to the left side of the Mint Macaron card front.
Adhere the piece of Country Lane Designer Paper to the rectangle of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.
Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the matted designer paper rectangle on the left side and the middle only. Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere the matted designer paper rectangle to the front of the card so the left edge overlaps the matted galvanized paper rectangle by about 1".
As you are ready to stamp using the Country Home Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the milk jug image from the Country Home Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small rectangle of Mint Macaron Cardstock. Set aside to let it dry.
Mount the small oval label image from the Country Home Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it on the scrap of Whisper White.
Mount the small, single word image of your choice from the Country Home Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped oval image. Set aside to let it dry.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the milk jug image by hand.
Unlock the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the square of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock into the punch and punch.
Adhere the cut out milk jug to the center of the Blackberry Bliss circle.
Adhere the milk jug circle to the front of the card so it is about 1-1/4" from the top and about 5/8" from the left side.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the oval tag image by hand.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the oval tag cut out to the center of the bottom of the milk jug.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere a Galvanized Button to the lower right side of the milk jug image so it overlaps the circle.
Cut an 8" piece of the Blackberry Bliss twine from the Nature's Twine.
Tie a small bow in the center of the twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the center of the button.
