Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-5/8" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 2-1/8" x 3-1/2" of fall floral arrangements on white background design from Country Lane Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock at least 2-1/2" long
As you are ready to stamp using the Country Home Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the fall flower arrangement with cotton stems image from the Country Home Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it at an angle in the upper right of the large white rectangle so the leftmost cotton stem is about 1/4" from the top edge and the rightmost cotton stem is about 1/2" from the right edge. Set aside to let it dry a few minutes while you work on other parts of the card.
Adhere the designer paper to the Crushed Curry rectangle.
Mount either the "so grateful for someone..." or the "you are the happy..." sentiment from the Country Home Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white rectangle.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the strip of Old Olive Cardstock into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment circle to the Old Olive circle.
Pick out one of the small, single word sentiments from the Country Home Set. Mount it on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock.
Pick out the short open banner with rounded ends framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is on the right side of the banner. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Pear Pizzazz Marker to color in the leaves on the stamped floral arrangement image on the large white rectangle.
Use the Crushed Curry Marker to color in the waffle like seed pods on the stamped floral arrangement image on the large white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped and colored large white rectangle to the Blackberry Bliss rectangle and then to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Adhere the matted designer paper to the front of the card on the left side so there is an even amount of white showing on the top, bottom, and left sides.
Adhere the matted sentiment circles to the front of the card so it is centered over the right side of the matted designer paper and covers the bottom edge of the floral arrangement image.
Adhere the banner sentiment cut out to the card front so it sticks out from behind the right side of the matted circle sentiment and is just below the bottom of the floral arrangement image.
Pick out a button from the Galvanized Buttons. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the card front on the bottom right side of the sentiment circles where they meet the banner cut out.
Cut a 3" piece of 3/16" Braided Linen Trim. Tie a half knot in the center. Fray the ends. Trim the ends. Adhere the knot to the top of the button using a Mini Glue Dot.
