Q uick and easy Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mint Macaron Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" of small green gingham design from Gingham Cottage 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" square from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Mint Macaron Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Cottage Wreaths Set, place the designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it on the vertical green plaid Gingham Cottage Designer Paper so it is centered side to side and is about 1" from the bottom.
Adhere the stamped designer paper to the center of the large Shaded Spruce rectangle and then to the front of the Mint Macaron card.
Pick out the large, slightly less detailed wreath die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the 2-3/4" Shaded Spruce square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Pick out the large, slightly more detailed wreath die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the 2-3/4" Mint Macaron square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the more detailed Mint Macaron wreath cut out over the top of the less detailed Shaded Spruce wreath cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the layered wreath cut outs to the front of the card so they are centered above the sentiment and about 3/4" from the top of the card.
Mount the bow image from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, small Mint Macaron square.
Pick out the matching, open bow die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bow on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bow cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle on the bottom left side of the wreath as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 5 jewels from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card on the wreath as shown.
