P retty Easter card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Parakeet Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" square from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 3" square Parakeet Party Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 2-7/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" square from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
Mount the "happy Easter" sentiment from the Excellent Eggs Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Parakeet Party Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the vertical white rectangle so it is about 1/4" from the left side and is about 1/2" from the bottom edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cottage Wreaths Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the full leaf wreath image from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Parakeet Party Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the vertical white rectangle so it is about 1/2" from the top and the right side just goes over the right edge of the cardstock. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again over the top of the previously stamped wreath slightly rotated. Repeat.
One at a time, peel the protective backings off of the Adhesive Sheets squares. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets squares to one side of the Granny Apple Green square and one side of the Parakeet Party square. Be sure to leave the other protective backings in place for now.
Pick out the large, slightly less detailed wreath die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the Granny Apple Green square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the green side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed, Granny Apple Green wreath cut out. Adhere it over the center of the stamped wreath on the white rectangle.
Pick out the large, slightly more detailed wreath die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the Parakeet Party square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Parakeet Party (green) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed, Parakeet Party wreath cut out. Adhere it to the center of the more solid cardstock wreath cut out.
Adhere the stamped and layered white rectangle to the center of the large Lemon Lolly rectangle and then to the front of the Parakeet Party card.
Mount the bow image from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small square of Lemon Lolly.
Pick out the matching, open bow die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bow on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bow cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown at the bottom left side of the wreath.
Pick out both of the open, set of 4 small flowers dies from the Painted Lavender Dies. Put them on top of the strip of Lemon Lolly cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere 6 of the little flower cut outs to the wreath on the front of the card as shown.
Use the fine tip of the Parakeet Party Stampin' Write Marker to add dots to the flowers as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 7 small pearls from a sheet of Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown. Make sure the large pearl is in the center of the bow.
