Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 2" x 5" of red, white, and yellow flowers on green leaves and stems on black background design from Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, cut so the stems and leaves are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-5/8" x 3-1/8" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Insert the Cherry Cobbler cardstock rectangle into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Cherry Cobbler rectangle to the front of the Granny Apple Green card.
Adhere the strip of Field & Flower Designer Paper to the front of the card on the left side of the Cherry Cobbler rectangle so about 1/8" of red shows on the top, left, and bottom edges.
Mount the smaller corner bouquet image from the Corner Bouquet Set on Block D. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the vertical Granny Apple Green rectangle so it is about 1/4" from the left and bottom edges.
Lay the stamped Granny Apple Green cardstock rectangle on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers the stamped image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny, clear, and smooth).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the cardstock while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the By The Dock Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the stamped and heat embossed Granny Apple Green rectangle.
Put the stamped and heat embossed green rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the fine tip of the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to color over the top of the heat embossed large flowers on the Corner Bouquet image.
Use the fine tip of the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to color over the top of the heat embossed dotted flowers on the Corner Bouquet image.
Adhere the stamped, heat embossed, and colored Granny Apple Green rectangle to the Basic Black rectangle.
Adhere the matted Granny Apple Green rectangle to the front of the card so it is about 3/4" from the right edge and about 1" from the top edge and overlaps the right edge of the designer paper strip.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Vanilla 1/2" Ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to color the ribbon on both sides.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the colored ribbon knot to the front of the card at the lower left corner of the heat embossed Corner Bouquet image.
