A little rainbow coloured birthday card inspired by Mary Fish.
Project Recipe
Card Base - 21cm x 14.8cm score and fold at 10.5cm
Basic Black mat - 9.8cm x 14.1cm
Whisper White - 9.5cm x 13.8cm
Strips - 1.2cm x 16cm (1 of each colour = 7)
Ribbon - 30cm
Coloured cardstock for confetti - 7cm x 7cm (1 of each colour)
Basic Black Scallop - 5.5cm x 8cm
Whisper White Oval - 5.5cm x 8cm
Envelope Paper - 21cm x 21cm punch and score at 8.8cm for Envelope Punch Board
Measure Whisper White card stock (in from top right hand corner to) 6cm then (down from top right hand corner) 5.5cm). Draw a diagonal line across these points with a pencil. This will be the starting line for your coloured cardstock strips.
Simply lay the strips down along the angle of the previously drawn guideline. Adhere with your preferred adhesive. (Mine is Multipurpose Liquid Glue). Lay both ends of the strips to be off the sides of the Whisper White cardstock to ensure that the strips are not cut too short when trimming later.
Once all the strips are adhered to place, use scissors to trim the excess to the size of the Whisper White piece. Simply stamp your sentiment and die cut it and the scallop. Layer up with the ribbon and the mat layer and adhere to card base. Make your envelope as per Envelope Punch Board instruction, starting with a paper size of 21cm x 21cm then score and punch at 8.8cm.
