H andmade card perfect to let someone know you care using retiring Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2-1.4" x 3" of red vine lines on pink background design from All My Love Designer Series Paper, cut so lines are horizontal when the paper is vertical
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- scrap of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock
Make sure you have Grid Paper under the Crumb Cake rectangle before stamping to protect your work surface from ink.
Mount the coffee cup rings image from the Timeless Textures Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the Crumb Cake rectangle. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp the image again just to the right of the first image and a bit lower. Let the bottom of the image go off the bottom edge of the cardstock.
Mount the woven texture block image from the Timeless Textures Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the Crumb Cake rectangle so it goes off the right and bottom edges and overlaps the coffee cup rings image a bit. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp the image again just above the first image. Let the right edge of the image go off the right edge of the cardstock.
Insert the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle into the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder so the lines are vertical when the cardstock is vertical. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Adhere the stamped and dry embossed Crumb Cake rectangle to the front of the Lovely Lipstick card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Coffee Cafe Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, outline cup image from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the rectangle of All My Love Designer Series Paper.
Pick out the matching larger coffee cup framelit from the Coffee Cups Dies. Place the stamped cup image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cup die on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the "life happens coffee helps" sentiment from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the larger vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the matching cup sleeve die (not the corrugated one) from the Coffee Cups Dies. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cup sleeve die on top so it is centered over the stamped sentiment. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the cup sleeve cut out to the center of the cup cut out.
Adhere the coffee cup cut out to the card front at a slight angle so the bottom right corner of the cup is about 3/4" from the bottom and the top right corner of the cup is about 5/8" from the right side.
Mount the plastic lid image on Block G. Ink it up with the Flirty Flaming Ink Pad. Stamp it on the long, narrow strip of vanilla.
Pick out the matching lid die from the Coffee Cups Dies. Place the stamped lid image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the lid die on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the tiny heart topped cup stopper die from the Coffee Cups Dies. Place the scrap of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stopper die on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces if necessary.
Use a Mini Glue Dot on the front of the base of the stopper cut out to adhere the stopper cut out to the back of the lid cut out so the stopper is centered.
Adhere the cup lid with stopper attached to the top of the coffee cup.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a small Heart Epoxy Droplet from a sheet of droplets making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the top of the stopper on the card front.
