Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/2" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 5-1/2" of tiny light green dots scattered on dark green background design from Peaceful Prints 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1/4" x 5-1/2" of tiny light green dots scattered on dark green background design from Peaceful Prints 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 1" x 1-1/2" of red foil sheets from Red & Green 12" x 12" Foil Sheets
Unlock the Holly Border Punch. Slide one long edge of the large Soft Sea Foam rectangle into the punch so the edge of the cardstock hits the raised edge at the bottom of the punching area. Punch. Slide the cardstock over a bit and line up the punched areas over the silver design printed along the bottom of the punching area. Punch. Slide the cardstock the other direction and line up the punched areas over the silver design printed along the bottom of the punching area. Punch.
Note: Save the tiny leaves you've punched out to use on another project. You are using the large rectangle with the holly border punched out of it on this project.
Use a thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen above and below the punched holly border on the back of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle and in between the punched out areas to adhere the larger strip of designer paper so the dark green with tiny green dots shows through the punched areas on the front of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Use a thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the thin strip of designer paper to the front of the punched and layered Soft Sea Foam rectangle so it is about 1-1/2" from the top edge.
Adhere the punched and layered Soft Sea Foam rectangle to the front of the Garden Green card so it is centered up and down and the left and right edges line up.
Mount the "merry christmas" sentiment from the Christmas To Remember Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the long white strip.
Pick out the long, skinny label with rounded ends die from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the label. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the thin designer paper strip and the left end of the label is about 1/4" from the left edge of the card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Season Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the set of two holly leaves image from the Christmas Season Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Pick out the open set of two holly leaves die from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped holly leaves on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the stamped holly leaves. Run through the machine.
Adhere the holly leaves cut outs to the front of the card so they overlap each other and the right end of the sentiment label cut out a bit.
Pick out the open set of four holly berries die from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on top of the red foil sheet rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the red is facing up. Run through the machine.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the one berry free from the rest.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the set of three berries to the front of the card so they overlap the bottoms of the holly leaves and the bottom right side of the sentiment label cut out.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the single berry to the front of the card so it overlaps the other three berries a bit as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a rhinestone from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the left end of the sentiment label cut out.
