D o you ever struggle with what to do with leftovers? Here is a way to use up those Christmas leftovers in a useful and meaningful way.
Project Recipe
Cut your leftover cardstock to make a 5 1/2 x 4 card.
Cut DSP 3 x 3. You will need 3 per card
Cut a piece of Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, or Basic Black 3 1/2 x 2 you need one for each card.
Stamp Greeting on 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 piece of cardstock in basic black. Outline heavy brush strokes with Wink of stella.
Punch a hole in the end. (I placed my greeting toward the right hand side to leave a little room for this punch)
Place ribbon through the hole and tie off with Baker's twine. This was a great way for me to use up my Baker's twine and Christmas ribbon.
You are now ready for placement. I adhered two of the three squares of DSP onto the card front and popped up the third piece in the middle with dimensionals. I found if I placed the dimensionals vertically on the this piece and then horizontally on the greeting tag all the pieces sat better.
I used leftover whisper white cardstock for my inside panel and stamped you are amazing from this gorgeous thank you set.
Mix and match and use up your leftovers. Everyone likes to get a card in the mail so make sure and thank people even for the smallest things.
