I created this elegant Christmas Card recently and I love it. I like stamping the letters just half way down because it really makes them pop off the card. Check out my blog to see how I made this!
Project Recipe
1. Cut a standard size A2 card of 4 1/4 by 11. So basically, cut a 8 1/2 by 11 standard whisper white card stock in half longways.
2. Cut a second piece of whisper white card stock slightly smaller than the actual card measurement: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Using the Big Shot take the Holly Embossing Folder and run it through to create the embossed image.
3. Cut a piece of ribbon that measures the length of almost 5 1/2.
4. Glue the ribbon using glue dots to the back of the card.
5. This is what you should have so far.
6. Cut out your letters to spell JOY.
7. Use the Holly Berry Happiness Stamp Set along with Pear Pizzaz for green ink and Real Red for red ink -- stamp only the bottom half of your letters.
8. Position the "O" first on the card to give you a guide. Use Dimensionals to make the letters pop up from the card.
9. Next grab another strip of whisper white card stock and stamp your sentiment. Use the Banner Triple Punch for the ends of the tag.
10. Use Dimensionals on the tag to raise it up from the card.
