Project Recipe
Here are your supplies needed. I embossed the rich razzleberry piece before I took the picture so you can do that too if you want.
You need a card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
5 strips of double sided paper at 2 1/2 x 1
layer cut at 5 1/4 x 4
scraps for sentiment
ribbon
Fold you base in half so you have a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card
emboss your top layer if you want to.....it's not necessary.
start with your first strip
it is going to go from the top and angle down to the right.
Fold the top corner down to the left
fold the bottom up to the right
The second strip is going to angle back in toward the center.
The top will fold down to the right
the bottom of the strip will fold up to the left
the third strip will angle back to the outside edge
the top will fold down to the left
the bottom will fold up to the right
Each of these strips is lining up with the strip above it and the folds are making what appears to be a square when you look at it.
Go ahead and add the last two strips following these same folds.
the last strip will end at the bottom of the layer
tie a ribbon around this layer and then adhere it to the card base
I finished it off with ovals from the double oval punch that you can find in the Jan-June mini.
I used a sentiment from the Enjoy the Moment stamp set that is also in there.
The sentiment is on dimensionals to give it some height to go along with the strips taht should stick up.
