Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Wild Wheat Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of daisies with yellow centers and green leaves and stems on brown background design from Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 5" from Wild Wheat Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper to the front of the Wild Wheat card.
Pick out the rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 3-3/8" x 4-5/8" and the rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 2-5/8" x 4" from the Deckled Rectangles Dies. Put them on top of the Wild Wheat rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the smaller die is centered inside the larger die without overlapping. Run through the machine. Keep both pieces. Leave the smaller rectangle die out.
Insert the large rectangle with a rectangle cut out of the center into the Timber 3D Embossing Folder so the woodgrain will run horizontally across the vertical rectangle. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the dry embossed rectangle frame to the front of the card so it is centered.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cheerful Daisies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "you made my day" sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment near the bottom edge of the remaining Wild Wheat rectangle cut out.
Put the smaller rectangle die on top of the sentiment stamped rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut a jagged edge on the left side about 1/4" from the left end of the sentiment and the sentiment is centered top to bottom between the already cut bottom edge and the top edge you are about to cut. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment rectangle cut out to the front of the card so the right end is tucked under the right inside edge of the frame (trim the sentiment strip down if needed) and the bottom of the sentiment rectangle is about 1/4" from the bottom inside edge of the frame as shown.
Pick out the large, connected 3 daisies and leaves die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out the flowers. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any stem and leaf bits sticking off from the large flower.
Put the cut out daisies on some Grid Paper on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat to protect your work surface.
Mount the small flower center image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, lightly roll one edge of the small flower center image across the open Wild Wheat Ink Pad. Stamp the image inside the center of the small, full daisy on the flowers cut out. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the small flower center image on Block A with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, lightly roll one edge of the small flower center image across the open Wild Wheat Ink Pad. Stamp the image over the center of the small, half daisy on the flowers cut out. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Mount the large flower center image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, lightly roll one edge of the large flower center image across the open Wild Wheat Ink Pad. Stamp the image inside the center of the large, full daisy on the flowers cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the stamped daisies cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered in the top of the frame and the petals overlap the left and right edges of the frame.
Carefully punch out one small, closed wing butterfly from a sheet of Paper Butterfly Accents.
Place the butterfly accent on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Make sure that the butterfly's body and antennae are on the left side.
Use the Dark and Light Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends to color the butterfly accent.
Use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the colored butterfly to adhere it to the card front as shown so it overlaps the right side of the frame and the top right side of the sentiment strip.
Cut a 9" piece of the Garden Green ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it is centered over the inside bottom right corner of the frame.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small Wild Wheat dots from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the daisies on the cut out as shown.
