A re you looking for a project to brighten the day of that special little girl? This card inspires daydreams of the summer festivals to come during those dreary winter days. I have a special little girl that lives far away and it sure is fun to drop notes in the mail to her just to see her brighten up. This Shaker card is just the ticket.
Project Recipe
Cut Watermelon Water Cardstock to make standard base folded 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Cut DSP 5 1/4" x 4"
Cut 2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock.
1. 3" x 4"
2. 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Cut Crumb Cake DSP 3 x 3
Stamp Carousel on both the large Whisper White Piece and the Crumb cake Piece of cardstock.
Cut out the bottoms of the cupcakes from the piece of Crumb Cake card stock then using the 1/2" punch remove the center of the carousel.
Using the 2" punch remove the center of the Carousel from the Whisper White piece. Then using the 1 3/8" piece cut out the center of the piece you just removed.
Adhere the window sheet to the back of the open space in the carousel. I used a 2 1/2" piece by 2 1/2"
Create a seal on the 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock using the foam adhesive strip.
Place a small amount of Sprinkles in the bottom portion of the shaker. Adhere the shaker pieces together.
Cut the cupcake top out of the glimmer paper using the Up and Away smallest cloud thinlet die.
Adhere the following:
Center of the Carousel on the window sheet.
Pieces of the cupcakes with dimensional s.
Put all the layers of the card together.
Tie a bow using the rabbit ear method. Adhere to the front of the card.
Cut a piece of Whisper White to desired size and stamp sentiment for inside of the card.
