P retty handmade Christmas gift bag with coordinating card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2" x 5" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 scraps of Whisper White Cardstock each at least 1" square
Insert gift(s) into a Striped Treat Bag. Fold the top of the gift bag over towards the back and crease in place. Use a small piece of tape to hold the bag closed.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide the piece of Garden Green Cardstock in as far as it will go. Punch.
Place the punched Garden Green rectangle into the Holly Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the "Deck the Halls" sentiment from the Carols of Christmas Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large white square.
Pick out the smooth circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 3" circle. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the smooth circle framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment circle to the top of the punched, dry embossed green banner so it is about 1/2" from the top.
Adhere the banner to the left front of the bag.
Cut a 6" piece of Gold Mini Sequin Trim. Fold it in half.
Lay the doubled end of the sequin trim on the top of the banner just to the upper left of the circle. Use a stapler to staple the sequin trim in place.
Peel the protective backing off a gold Mini Gift Bow and adhere it in place over the staple.
Mount the small poinsettia image on Block A. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the small white squares.
Pick out one of the corner thinlits from the Card Front Builder Thinlits that cuts out corner pattern of flowers and leaves. Place the stamped poinsettia image on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the corner thinlit on top so the center flower cut out space is centered over the stamped poinsettia. You might have to rotate the thinlit around to find the best fit. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the poinsettia cut out to the bottom center of the large sentiment circle.
Mount the set of three flower leaves image on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the remaining small white square.
Pick out the set of three leaves thinlit from the Card Front Builder Thinlits. Place the stamped leaves image on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the leaves thinlit on top so it is centered over the stamped leaves. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces. You will have one single leaf and one set of two leaves.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaves to the sentiment circle so they are peeking out from behind the poinsettia on either side.
