I 've really enjoyed the Butterfly Basics stamp set the card is made from these instructions but I also made a bookmark. Just make the bookmark longer, laminated it, punch a hole through the laminate and thread the ribbon through. This is a punch happy card and I used a lot of them!
Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Crumb Cake Cut & Ready Card Stock Bases OR cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" for interior of the card
Scrap Piece:
Whisper White Card Stock - scrap about 5", you will cut this to 4 1/2 x 2" and another scrap piece for the butterfly
Glimmer Paper - with 1 3/4" punch 1/2 size
Vellum - with 2 3/8" punch 1/2 size
Accessories:
Daffodil Delight Ribbon, cut 3" with ribbon scissors
Cut your Whisper White Card Stock 4 1/2" x 2" and use your Ornate Tag Topper on one end.
Stamp the leaf image in Old Olive to the right side of your tag. Stamp once, then lift the top of the image to the left, stamp again, lift the top of the right and stamp again. This gives a muted effect on each side of your leaf image.
Stamp another leaf image on the right side but just use half of the image
Stamp with Smoky Slate Ink and the honeycomb pattern, stamp off on your scratch paper and then stamp on the tag. Do this twice indifferent spots.
Stamp the round image in Crushed Curry Ink on your tag.
Stamp the sentiment "There is NOTHING..." on Daffodil Delight Card Stock with Smoky Slate Ink. Punch out with the Decorative Label Punch.
Adhere the sentiment to the tag with Dimensionals.
Stamp the Butterfly in Blushing Bride on a scrap piece of Whisper White Card stock and punch out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.
Adhere the butterfly to the tag with a Glue Dot.
Take the Glimmer Paper and punch half way with the 1 3/4" punch.
Take the vellum and punch half way with the 2 3/8" punch.
Using Fast Fuse, adhere the glimmer paper to the vellum, then to the tag.
Adhere the scallop to the tag with Fast Fuse.
Stamp the Gorgeous Grunge dots with Crumb Cake Ink on the front of the card.
Stamp two lines with Crumb Cake on the front of the card.
Stamp the Honey Comb with Crumb Cake on the front of the card. (Be SURE you CLEANED your stamp from the Smoky Slate). Stamp off on your scratch paper first and then your card.
Cut the Daffodil Delight ribbon and staple to your tag.
Adhere the tag with Dimensionals to the front of the card.
Use the Scallop Edge Border Punch on the edge of the interior piece of Whisper White Card Stock.
Stamp the leaf image with Old Olive using the same technique as the front.
Stamp the butterfly using Blushing Bride next to the leaf on the interior of the card.
Adhere the scallop trimmed piece to the interior of the card.
