I created this card for my Technique Thursday Facebook Live class.
Project Recipe
Some of the supplies I used for this card are not available until the 2021 Annual Catalog is released on May 4.
Soft Succulent cardstock 4-1/4" x 9" scored at 5-1/2"; and 8-1/2" x 2" scored at 2-1/8" on each end.
Pale Papaya (1) 3-1/4" x 4"; (1) 4" x 5-1/2"; (2) 1-3/4" x 1-7/8"; 4" x 2-3/4"
Basic White 3-3/4" x 5"; 1/2" x 2-1/4"; and scrap.
Fresh Freesia scraps
Calypso Coral scraps
True Love Designer Series Paper 2-1/8" x 3-3/8"; 2-3/4" x 3-3/4"; (2) 1-1/2" x 1-5/8"
Using the Quite Curvy and Sweet Ice Cream stamp sets stamp 3-3/4 x 5" Basic white cardstock with sentiment.
Adhere the white cardstock to the 4" x 5-1/4" Pale Papaya.
Adhere the scored Soft Succulent measuring 8-1/2" x 2" to the bottom of the card base, so the "gate" comes together in the middle of the card.
Adhere the layer you stamped with the sentiment to the inside of the card.
Die cut two sets of the rose detail dies for the large rose. One set in Fresh Freesia and one set in Calypso Coral using scraps.
Stamp two of the large roses onto scrap white cardstock. One in Fresh Freesia and the other Calypso Coral.
I used a Blending Brush with Calypso Coral ink to color slightly, but forgot to do the same with the Fresh Freesia. I went back and remade it, but I couldn't figure out how to change the photo out.
Using Stampin' Blends to color the flowers on the True Love DSP using Lt Daffodil, Dark So Saffron, Lt Old Olive, Lt Mossy Meadow, Lt Purple Posy, Lt Highland Heather, Light Calypso Coral, Lt Rococo Rose, Lt Poppy Parade, and Lt Real Red.
Using Scalloped Contours Dies cut Pale Papaya using the third largest scallop die.
Using the second largest die cut the 3" x 3-3/4" DSP for the middle.
Adhere the scallop DSP to the scallop Fresh Freesia mat.
Adhere the two DSP measuring 1-1/2" x 1-5/8 to the two Pale Papaya measuring 1-7/8" x 1-3/4"
Last, adhere the 3-3/4" x 3" DSP to the 4" x 3-1/4" Pale Papaya.
Adhere all of the layers to the front of the card as shown.
When you add the scalloped pieces only adhere the top of the layers so you don't glue your card shut.
Stamp salutation on the 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" basic white and adhere that to the 2 1/2" x 3/4 Pale Papaya. Trim if needed.
Adhere the detailed roses you die cut to the stamped roses onto the front of the card.
Add the greeting.
Embelish with Genial Gems.
