Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 4-1/4" x 5-5/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 4" x 5-3/8" of white snow on light blue background design from Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 1/8" x 2" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 1-1/8"
- 1" x 2" of Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Fold together the Acetate Card Box. Insert gift card, gift certificate, or small gift with some white Sweet Soiree Ready Shreddy for padding and close it up.
Adhere the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper to the large white rectangle. Then adhere the matted designer paper to the top of the acetate box.
Fold the small white card in half. Use the Bone Folder to get a sharp fold.
Open the small white card and place it on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner, crisper image.
Mount the "May Your Christmas Be Bright" banner on Block C. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the front of the small white card.
Use the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch to punch two small holes near the top of the back of the small white card.
Cut a 2-1/2" piece of Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Feed the ends of the ribbon through the holes in the back of the card from the inside of the card. Secure the ends in place on the back of the card using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Pick out the set of two diamond shaped lamps on the bracket thinlit and the single diamond shaped lamp thinlit from the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits. Place the piece of 2" x 3-1/4" Basic Black Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the two thinlits on top, making sure they do not overlap. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock.
Pick out the lamppost thinlit and one of the straight banner hanger thinlits from the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits. Place the piece of 1-1/4" x 5" Basic Black Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the two thinlits on top, making sure they do not overlap. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock.
Tip: You may want to hold the thinlits in place by putting a small piece of washi tape across them.
Pick out the rectangle thinlit that cuts out three inside lamp pieces from the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits. Place the piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock.
Place the lamppost cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the lamppost cut out. Flip the lamppost cut out over and adhere it to the front of the box about 1-1/4" in from the left side of the designer paper.
Use the same gluing method to adhere the yellow inside lamp pieces to the backs of the two lamps cut out and the single lamp cut out.
Use the same gluing method and SNAIL to adhere the set of two lamps cut out to the top of the lamppost.
Use SNAIL to adhere the single lamp cut out to the top of the lamppost between the set of two lamps.
Use the sponge and liquid glue method to adhere the banner hanger cut out to the back of the thin strip of Basic Black so just the knob at the end shows.
Slide the ribbon hanger for the small card banner over the lengthened banner hanger piece.
Apply more glue to the back of the lengthened banner hanger piece if needed using the sponge and liquid glue method. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive holding the ribbon to the back of the small card. Adhere the banner hanger and hanging card to the box front so they stick out to the right near the top of the lamppost.
Cut two pieces of Real Red 1/8' Solid Ribbon each 8" long.
Add a Mini Glue Dot to one end of one piece of Real Red 1/8" Ribbon and secure it to the back of a Boxwood Wreath Embellishment. Wrap the ribbon around the wreath several times. Secure the other end to the back of the wreath using a Mini Glue Dot.
Add some more Mini Glue Dots to the back of the wreath and adhere it to the box front near the top of the lamppost.
Tie the other piece of ribbon in a small bow. Trim the ends. Adhere the bow to the lower left side of the wreath using a Mini Glue Dot.
