reated this box for kids card class so they have somewhere to carry their cards. It will hold 6 - 8 cards with envelopes, depending on the embellishments. The bottom of this photo shows 6 cards with envelopes will fit nicely.
Thanks to France Martin for sharing her video on "how to".
Project Recipe
Start with card stock 9-1/2" x 9-1/2".
Using the Envelope Punch Board, punch and score on the top and bottom at 3-1/2" & 5". Use the corner rounder to round the top flap.
Using the Envelope Punch Board, punch and score on the 2 ends by matching up the score lines made in the previous step.
To cut off the tip of the bottom, lay the first score line at the 2-1/2" mark on the paper trimmer.
Stamp design, if desired, prior to assembling the box.
Fold on all score lines - cut out the corner squares on the top - cut only one side of the corner squares on the bottom so they can be folded in when using the Tear & Tape adhesive to secure the box.
The belly band is made from a piece of card stock 1" x 12". Fold around assembled box - score on folds - adhere loosely with glue dots - adhere the flower decorations with glue dots.
Once again, the girls in class thought it would be a great idea to add some of the new Glitter Tape to the belly band for our card box - I absolutely love how it turned out, don't you?
