Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Mint Macaron Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- vines cut from a sheet of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
Mount the Marbled background on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad by rubbing the pad across the stamp. Leave the inked up stamp laying on your work surface inky rubber side up. Place the Mint Macaron rectangle on top. Fold the Grid Paper over the stamp and rub. Unfold the Grid Paper and carefully remove the cardstock.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to carefully cut out a couple of vines with leaves from a sheet of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.
Use Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the cut out vines to the right side of the stamped Mint Macaron rectangle. Get the tops of the vines close to the top of the cardstock. You may have to trim some of the vines off near the bottom. Make sure the white side of the vines is showing.
Mount the "thanks for everything" sentiment from the All Things Thanks Set on Block D. Carefully ink up ONLY the word "thanks" using the brush tip of the Mint Macaron Marker. Breathe on the stamp to re-moisten the ink. Stamp it in the center of the Whisper White rectangle.
Pick out the oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out an oval that is 1-7/8" wide. Place the stamped sentiment rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so the sentiment is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out to the bottom of the stamped Mint Macaron rectangle so the oval covers the bottom of the vines and is about 3/8" from the right edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Bouquet Blooms Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Use the pencil to draw a small up arrow in the corner of the Whisper White square.
Mount the larger, single, 4-petal flower image from the Bouquet Blooms Set on Block B so the little tab molded into the photopolymer is pointing up on the block. Ink up the stamp with the Mini Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the square of Whisper White Cardstock so the arrow on the cardstock and the tab molded into the stamp are all pointing up.
Pick out the larger, matching four-petal flower framelit from the Gatefold Blossoms Framelits. Place the stamped flower image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flower framelit on top so it is centered over the flower image. If you make sure the penciled up arrow and the tab built onto the framelit are all pointing up, it will be easier to line things up. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the flower cut out to the card front so it overlaps the upper right side of the sentiment oval where the vines are coming out.
Place the card front on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Use the Paper-Piercing Tool to poke a hole through all layers in the center of the flower cut out.
Pick out a large, smooth Mint Macaron brad from the Basic Brads. Insert the prongs through the hole. Flip the pieces over and bend the prongs of the brad flat.
Adhere the card front to the front of the Mint Macaron card.
