I
think this may be my favorite one yet! This is along the same lines as the last two cards as I am really liking this card design. . . It is super quick to assemble!
Hope you all enjoy!
Project Recipe
Paper Sizes:
Whisper White cardstock 8.5 x 5.5"
Blue and white Daisy Delight DSP 4 x 5.25"
1/2" strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock
Cut all paper as indicated above.
1. Add the strip of Daffodil Delight to the bottom of the Daisy Delight paper you cut. It should be 5.25" long.
2. Cut a piece of your choice of white ribbon about an inch longer than the paper and adhear it to on top of the yellow strip with a few small spots of snail. Wrap the excess around to the back and secure with snail.
3. Glue the card front to your card base in the center with snail.
4. Punch out a white daisy and a Daffodil Delight daisy with your Daisy Punch. Layer the yellow first and then the white on top securing with snail.
5. Stamp the center detail with Daffodil Delight ink.
6. Stamp your sentiment in Night of Navy ink on white cardstock. Trim to 1/2" wide.
7. Using your Banner Punch (retired), insert the strip of Daffodil Delight from the bottom side through the hole to the left and punch a banner end. Repeat this for your sentiment strip. If you don't have a banner punch you can use a square punch or snip the end of your paper about 3/8" in the center. Then from each corner cut to the end of the snip.
8. Trim the sentiment strip about 3/8" past the end of the stamping.
9. You will need to cut your Daffodil Delight strip about 1/4 inch longer than your sentiment strip.
10. Layer the Daffodil Delight on bottom about 1/8" below the white sentiment strip.
11. Glue to the right side of the card even with the Daisy DSP about 1/2" above your ribbon.
12. As you choose you may want to add some stamping to the inside of your card with the smaller stamps in the set using either Daffodil Delight or Night of Navy for the flowers and Tranquil Tide for the stems.
