Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 4-1/8" of tiny, light green leaf stems on darker green background design from Heart & Home Designer Series Paper
- 2-7/8" x 4-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 7/8" x 2" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Heart & Home Designer Paper to the left side of the horizontal, large Cinnamon Cider rectangle so a small amount of brown shows on the top, left, and bottom edges.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim.
Lay the lace trim across the designer paper/cardstock rectangle so the flat edge of the lace trim is against the right edge of the designer paper . Fold the ends of the lace trim over and secure the lace trim in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Cinnamon Cider rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Garden Green card so the ribbon is on the right side.
Mount the large flower bouquet image from the Blessings Of Home Stamp Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla rectangle.
Squeeze the lid of the Bumblebee Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the centers of the flowers. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Squeeze the lid of the Garden Green Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the leaves of the bouquet. Adhere the colored bouquet vanilla rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered top to bottom and the right edge is about 3/8" from the right edge of the card. The larger flowers should be on the right side of the rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Special Moments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "with sympathy" sentiment from the Special Moments Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Cinnamon Cider rectangle.
Adhere the stamped sentiment rectangle to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left side of the vanilla bouquet rectangle about 1/4" from the bottom edge. The left side of the sentiment rectangle should be about 3/8" from the left side of the card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small pearls from a sheet of Pearl Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card so they are evenly spaced over the end of the word "sympathy" on the sentiment rectangle.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one small and one large butterfly from a sheet of Brushed Brass Butterflies making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card around the bouquet as shown.
