H i friends! As I promised yesterday, here is the Christmas card from the Blended Seasons bundle! I will try to make some more because I haven't yet used the holly stamp! Hmmm you'll just have to come back again I guess! ;-) Check it out!
Project Recipe
The base of this card is Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I wanted it to be a little darker than the DSP. It's the regular 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" size. You will also need the red Under the Mistletoe DSP, cut to 4" x 51/2", a peice of Vellum and gold foil about the same size. Some Whisper white, Garden Green, and Pear Pizzaz scraps.
Start by cutting out pieces with the framelits. Use the biggest label from the Stiched Seasons framlits on the Vellum, the medium label for the Gold Foil and Under the Mistletoe DSP. Now use snail tape in the middle of the vellum and center it on the cardsotck. Then take the Gold Foil piece and center it on the vellum, sticking it down with snail tape too. Last, take the DSP and put Small Dimensionals on the back and place it across the other labels horizontall in the middle as shown.
Stamp the Bell on Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black ink and color it in using the Stampin Blend Markers. Then find the framelit that matches and cut it out. At the same time you can cut out the other diecuts in the 2 greens and white for embellishments. Also stamp the sentiment "Merry Christmas" in Mossy Meadow ink. Trim it down and cut a V in the ends so it looks like a banner.
Put the embellishments together using Glue Dots.
Again using Glue Dots, stick the cutouts on the card as shown. Make sure to use the sentiment to gauge where to place them as you want it to come out from behind it.
Using Large Dimensionals on the back of the sentiment, adhere it to the center of the card, then add the bell. Put a few Rhinestones in the for indents of the vellum for a little bit of sparkle and you are finished. D
You can also decorate the envelope with any left over pieces you may have.
Come back tomorrow to see how you can order this amazing set starting August first , while supplies last!!!
Happy Stamping!
