his awesome stamp set makes beautiful "friend" cards. I used the tri-fold technique-inspired by Lori Pinto.
CS: card stock
DSP: designer series paper
Project Recipe
Cut as follows:
DSP: (3) 2-34" x 5-1/4 (use 2 different patterns.
Misty Moonlight: (2) 2-3/4" square
Flirty Flamingo: 2-3/4" square
You will need to cut 2 shells from the DSP: 3" x 3" for stamped blue shell &2" x 3" for the stamped pink shell
Cut Basic White to measure 8-1/2" x 9".
On the long side (9") score at 3" & 6".
Turn and cut CS to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2".
Fold both strips accordion style back and forth and use bone folder to get a crisp edge.
Adhere DSP strips to the card base and the CS to the short piece. Stamp the 2 shells with in colors shown on DSP. Cut out using the large die. Trim off excess.
Stamp sand dollar and cut out with die. Cut 2 more shells from DSP. Adhere shells as shown. Stamp sentiments on DSP and 1 on Whisper white.
To assemble card: with card base folded, place smaller folded CS inside so that right side sticks out. Decide where to to place and adhere to front and to back. It’s helpful to use and envelope as a “template” so that the card is the right size.
