Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Powder Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2" x 5-1/2" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 5-1/2" of black outline leaves and flowers on white background design from Petal Passion Designer Series Paper
- 3" square from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the Powder Pink card on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the large rose and buds image from the Birthday Blooms Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it along the right edge of the card at the bottom so the tops of the rose and buds are about 1-1/4" onto the cardstock. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again just above the first image on the right edge of the card. Leave the stamp on the block.
Place the white square on the Grid Paper. Re-ink the image with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the square.
Pick out the stitched square framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits that cuts out a stitched square that is 2-5/8" wide. Place the black square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stitched square framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a square that is 2-3/8" wide. Place the flower stamped white square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the square framelit on top so the big rose is centered in the cutting area. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Markers to color in the flower, buds, and leaves on the white square.
Use the Powder Pink Marker on the petals.
Use the fine tip of the Berry Burst Marker on the stamens and lines on the petals.
Use the Lemon Lime Twist Marker on the leaves.
Adhere the colored floral white square to the center of the stitched black square.
Adhere the strip of Petal Passion Designer Paper to the center of the black strip of cardstock.
Cut a 6-1/4" piece of Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the center of the designer paper/cardstock layers . Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the stamped Powder Pink card so it is centered between the left edge of the card front and the stamped floral images down the.right edge.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted, colored floral square to front of the card so it is centered over the designer paper/cardstock strip side to side and about 3/4" from the top of the card.
Pick out a Powder Pink bow from the 2017-2019 In Color Bitty Bows. Peel the protective backing from the adhesive dimensional on the back of the bow. Adhere the bow to the bottom of the matted floral image so it is centered over the ribbon.
Carefully peel up a small circle from a sheet of Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to one of the petals on the colored rose image.
