his is a fun way to decorate a 6" x 9" clipboard. You can store notes or cards in the little pocket. I am selling a kit for this design and two cards at my upcoming Craft Retreat. If you can't make it I would love to mail you one. The kit is $15 for the clipboard and all of the supplies. If you need the Free As a Bird stamp set, just let me know and I will order you one.
The clipboard is inspired by Becky Roberts.
Thanks for stopping by!
Project Recipe
Take your 6" x 9" designer series paper and cut out the notch for the clip at the top of your clipboard. I purchased my clipboards on Amazon. Adhere the paper with liquid multipurpose glue.
Use a scrap piece of whisper white card stock to stamp a bird, 2 flowers and 3 leaves using Momento Tuxedo black ink. Save enough room to cut out a stitched nested label that is 1 1/4" (inside the die measurement). Color in the bird using Pool Party light and dark and dark Crumb cake Stampin' Blends markers. I used light and dark Daffodil Delight for the flowers and light Old Olive for the leaves.
Cut out the bird, flowers and leaves. Stamp the sentiment on a piece of 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" whisper white card stock. Adhere to a piece of 4 1/2" x 3" So Saffron card stock.
Stamp leaves in Old Olive ink on the So Saffron 8" x 4" card stock. This piece is scored at 1", 3/4" and 1/2" on 3 sides. Cut the bottom 2 corners from the piece and fold along the score lines accordion style. Use tear & tape along the bottom edges to adhere to the clip board.
Adhere your piece with the sentiment to the clipboard and be sure to snug it up against the base of the clip.
Complete your clipboard by adding the ribbon and bird ballad trinket to your pocket at the bottom of the clipboard.
