Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Emerald Envy Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Smoky Slate Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 1-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the Emerald Envy rectangle into the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Emerald Envy rectangle to the front of the Sweet Sugarplum card.
Place the piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock inside the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Mount the bicycle frame image from the Bike Ride Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Emerald Envy Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the long white strip so the seat is just on the left edge of the strip and the handle bars are just below the top edge.
Mount the solid seat image from the Bike Ride Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the seat of the bike frame.
Mount the solid handle bar grips image from the Bike Ride Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the handle bar grips of the bike frame.
Mount the "happiest birthday" sentiment from the Cool Treats Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the long white strip.
Run a line of SNAIL across the back top edge of the stamped white strip. Starting on one end, adhere the Emerald Envy 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with little pleats so that the ribbon pokes out on the top edge about 1/4". Trim the ends.
Put more SNAIL on the back of the stamped white strip. Adhere it to the top of the dry embossed Smoky Slate layer about 1-1/4" up from the bottom edge. Make sure the left edges of both pieces are lined up.
Adhere the Smoky Slate layer to the center of the card front.
Cut a 3" piece of Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends. Adhere the ribbon knot to the upper left corner of the long white strip using a Mini Glue Dot.
Pick out two Emerald Envy arrows from the 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. Adhere one just to the right of the word "happiest" on the long white strip with a Mini Glue Dot. Adhere the other to the bottom left corner of the Smoky Slate layer using a Mini Glue Dot. Make sure the arrows are pointing to the right and that the glittery side is up.
Mount the solid basket image from the Bike Ride Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller piece of white cardstock.
Mount the outline basket image from the Bike Ride Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previous basket image.
Pick out the matching basket framelit from the Build a Bike Framelits. Place the stamped basket image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the basket framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped basket image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the basket image to the lower right corner of the Smoky Slate layer.
Mount the outline of the flower swag image from the Bike Ride Set on Block B so that the arrow molded into the photopolymer is pointing up. Ink it up with the Emerald Envy Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining white cardstock rectangle so the arrow is pointing up.
Mount the scattering of leaves image from the Bike Ride Set on Block B so that the arrow molded into the photopolymer is pointing up. Ink it up with the Emerald Envy Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previous image so the arrow is pointing up.
