Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2" x 5- 1/4" of green leaves and purple blackberries on white background design from Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock or Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock or Basic White Cardstock
Insert the Blackberry Bliss cardstock rectangle into the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Open the Gilded Leafing Embellishment and pour at least some of it into a large container with a lid. Be careful, the leafing tends to go everywhere!
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive along one long edge of the Rich Razzleberry rectangle. Make sure the Tear & Tape goes along the entire edge by extending the Tear & Tape past the top and bottom edges. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess Tear & Tape on the top and bottom edges.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Strip. Place the cardstock with Tear & Tape along the edge upside down into the Gilded Leafing Embellishment container and press down lightly.
Remove the rectangle from the container and use the flat paintbrush to brush off excess leafing embellishment. Return the leafing embellishment to the container to use again later.
Adhere the strip of Berry Delightful Designer Paper to the strip of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock with the leafing embellishment applied to it. Make sure the line of leafing embellishment is on the left side of the rectangle. Use Paper Snips to trim off any excess cardstock on the left side of the leafing embellishment and any excess designer paper on the other sides.
Cut a 3" piece of the Fine Art 3/8" Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the bottom of the Designer Paper/gilded leafing rectangle so the ribbon is about 1-1/4" from the bottom edge. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the rectangle. Adhere it to the dry embossed Blackberry Bliss rectangle so it is about 1/4" from the left edge.
Adhere the dry embossed Blackberry Bliss rectangle with designer paper/gilded leafing layer attached to the front of the Rich Razzleberry card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Berry Blessings Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "bountiful blessings" sentiment from the Berry Blessings Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one end of the long strip of white cardstock. Leave room to punch the sentiment out.
Unlock the Tailored Tag Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Lightly rub the VersaMark Pad edge onto the edges of the sentiment punch out.
Lay the stamped and edged sentiment punch out on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Heat & Stick Powder so it covers the entire punch out. Tap off excess powder. If desired, use a fine tip paintbrush to brush off more powder so it is only around the edges of the punch out. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
BE READY TO WORK QUICKLY!
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny, clear, and smooth).
Place the sentiment punch out with heated powder upside down into the Gilded Leafing Embellishment container and press down lightly.
Remove the sentiment punch out from the container and use the flat paintbrush to brush off excess leafing embellishment. Return the leafing embellishment to the container to use again later.
Tip: It may be easier to add VersaMark, Heat & Stick Powder, and Gilded Leafing Embellishment to half of the sentiment punch out at a time.
Adhere the sentiment punch out with gilded leafing attached to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals so the left edge is centered over the ribbon on the card front and the center of the sentiment punch out is even with the right edge of the designer paper strip.
Mount the solid blackberry/raspberry image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it onto the white square.
Mount the outline blackberry/raspberry image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped berry so the edges line up.
Mount the solid berry cap with stem image from the Berry Blessing Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the previously stamped berry image.
Mount the outline berry cap with stem image from the Berry Blessing Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped berry cap and stem image so the edges line up.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the berry by hand. Cut off the stem.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the berry cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower right side of the sentiment punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large dot from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card in the upper right corner.
Cut a 3" piece of the Fine Art 3/8" Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card on the left side of the sentiment punch out. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
