Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and shimmer vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of gold foil flowers and leaves on purple background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the stems of the plants are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 3" square from Gold 12" x 12" Shimmer Vellum
- 1-1/4" x 3-3/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Mount the large bracken fern image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it diagonally across the Gold Shimmer Vellum square so the stem goes off the lower right corner. Make sure you are stamping on the shiny side of the vellum. Set aside to allow to dry.
Cut a 10" piece of the white 1/2" Faux Linen Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Lay the ribbon bow on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Use the brush tip of the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends to color the bow purple. Make sure to color both sides of the bow as needed. Set aside to allow to dry.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock or specialty paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Thank You" sentiment from the Pansy Patch Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Rich Razzleberry strip.
Pick out the small label die from the Harvest Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die up and down and slightly closer to the left edge. Run through the machine.
Adhere the piece of Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Paper to the front of the Rich Razzleberry card. Make sure the stems and flowers are right side up.
Turn the stamped vellum square over so the dull, unstamped side is face up. Apply a thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen along the line of the stem of the bracken fern and along the bottom of the vellum square.
Adhere the vellum square to the card front so there is about 5/8" between it and the top, left, and right edges. Try NOT to press too much on the stamped image or the ink might smear.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the card front so it covers the lower left side of the shimmer vellum square.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the colored ribbon bow at a slight angle to the card front so it overlaps the lower right corner of the shimmer vellum square.
