R ich card perfect for lots of occasions using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and shimmer vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of birds and flowers with some gold details on tan background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/8" x 4-1/2" from Gold 12" x 12" Shimmer Vellum
- 1-3/4" square from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
Unlock the Everyday Label Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one short edge of the Gold Shimmer Vellum strip into the punch from above (through the punching area) and pull it out a tiny bit along the side so you will punch the tag shape on the short edge only. Get the vellum strip centered in the punching area and punch. You should now have a long strip of vellum with a tag shape punched on one end only.
Carefully remove one of the long, skinny tags with gold foil flowers and edging from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack.
Mount the "Some people are just likeable" sentiment from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it carefully in the center of the tag from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack so the top of the tag is on the right side.
Tip: You might want to test stamp on Grid Paper before stamping on the self-adhesive ephemera pack tag to make sure your sentiment is right side up and is straight.
Adhere the stamped tag to the punched strip of Gold Shimmer Vellum so the bumps in the ends of the tags line up. Don 't worry if the shimmer vellum is longer than the ephemera tag, you'll trim off excess later.
Use a hand-held circle punch to punch a hole in the vellum strip through the hole in the ephemera pack tag.
Cut a 4" piece of the Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon and a 9" piece of the gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim.
Feed one end of the shimmer ribbon through the holes in the tops of the tags. Pull through until the ribbon is equal. Use the gold trim to tie the ribbon in place using a small bow. Trim the ends of the ribbon and trim.
Adhere the shimmer vellum/ephemera tag with ribbon attached to the piece of Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper so the end of the ephemera tag is even with the left side of the designer paper and the bottom of the shimmer vellum is about 1/2" from the bottom of the designer paper. The ribbons should be on the right side.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off excess shimmer vellum on the left side of the designer paper if needed.
Adhere the designer paper with tags attached to the Blackberry Bliss rectangle and then to the front of the Rich Razzleberry card.
Carefully remove one of the bunches of dark purple flowers and brown stems from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. Adhere it to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the vellum and ephemera tag on the upper left side as shown and the end of the stem tucks under the top of the ephemera tag.
Mount the flying bird image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Cinnamon Cider square.
Pick out the flying bird die from the Beautiful Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bird on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the stamped bird. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bird cut out to the front of the card as shown in the upper right corner.
