H ome decor item...stamped candle
Stamp your chosen image onto tissue paper. I added a touch of lighter colour to her hat and dress.
Trim excess tissue paper and add a tiny dab of glue to hold the image in place against the candle.
Wrap the candle in a strip of wax paper, wax side against the candle.
Holding the overhanging ends together from behind to save scorching your fingers
Apply heat gun to the candle until the wax starts to melt/glisten. Move the heat gun over the image until wax has melted. To achieve a even melt and a smooth image I roll my candle whilst still holding the wax paper over some brown paper to blot the excess melted wax.
Remove the wax paper and check to ensure that you cannot see any of the tissue paper.
White tissue paper will blend in with the candle background.
If you can still see any tissue paper on the candle, repeat the process with a piece of unused wax paper and apply heat to that area.
Apply next image to the candle and repeat the process.
Once all images are on the candle, lightly rub/buff with your hand to ensure surface is smooth.
Place your candle on a non flammable coaster.
Light and enjoy.
Remember NEVER leave a naked flame unattended.
