G orgeous card with lots of shimmer using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Island Indigo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Island Indigo Cardstock
Put a small strip of SNAIL Adhesive in the middle of the Rich Razzleberry rectangle. Place the medallion mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks on top so it is centered over the cardstock. The bit of SNAIL will help hold it in place as you add embossing paste. Place the cardstock with mask on top on a piece of wax paper to protect your work surface.
Use one of the Palette Knives to get small amounts of Shimmery White Embossing Paste out of the container. Spread it around on the mask so that you get an even, smooth coating of paste in all the cut out areas on the mask except for the center which will be covered. Remove the mask and set the cardstock aside to dry. Clean the mask and palette knife thoroughly with warm water immediately so the paste doesn't dry on your tools. Be sure to close the embossing paste container right away as well.
Cut a 3" and a 4-1/2" piece of Island Indigo 1/4" Ombre Ribbon.
Place one piece of the ribbon on your Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Marker to color the white edge of the ribbon. Use the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends Marker to go over the hard edges left by the razzleberry marker to blend them in. Set the ribbon aside to let it dry. Repeat with the other piece of ribbon.
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the Beautiful Peacock Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the curved feather image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Island Indigo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the white rectangle so that the feathers are curving down towards the middle. Rotate the cardstock 180 degrees. Re-ink the stamp with Island Indigo Ink and stamp in the new upper right corner.
Mount the straight feather image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the white rectangle so that the tip of the feathers are pointing to the left. Rotate the cardstock 180 degrees. Re-ink the stamp with Rich Razzleberry Ink and stamp in the new upper right corner.
Mount the largest open flower image on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad and stamp it randomly around the feathers 3 times. Remember to re-ink each time.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Mount the medium open flower image on Block A. Ink it up with the Island Indigo Ink Pad and stamp it randomly around the feathers 3 times. Remember to re-ink each time.

Mount the smallest open flower image on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad and stamp it randomly around the feathers 2 times. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp carefully and re-ink with the Island Indigo Ink Pad and stamp 2 more times randomly around the feathers remembering to re-ink each time.

Mount the "Today is all about YOU!" sentiment on Block G. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the strip of Island Indigo Cardstock.
Pick out the long, single, open banner framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Poke out the banner with the sentiment and keep it. Also use the Paper-Piercing Tool to poke out the outline banner that is probably stuck inside the framelit, remove it, and throw it away. If you don't remove it, then you will have trouble cutting with this framelit the next time you use it.
Lay the 4-1/2" piece of colored ribbon across the middle of the stamped white rectangle. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Adhere the sentiment banner to the center of the stamped rectangle using Stampin' Dimensionals so it is centered over the ribbon.
Tie the small piece of ribbon to the left side of the ribbon on the stamped white rectangle using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Carefully remove 3 medium rhinestones from a sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure you get the adhesive as well as the rhinestone. Adhere them to the centers of the larger flowers.
If the embossing paste is dry, adhere the Rich Razzleberry layer to the front of the Island Indigo card.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the white rectangle to the center of the card front.
