Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Emerald Envy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Bermuda Bay Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" from Emerald Envy Cardstock
- 3" x 4" of rose gold dots on white background design from Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Emerald Envy Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 3-5/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
Place the Bermuda Bay rectangle inside the Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Bermuda Bay rectangle to the front of the Emerald Envy card.
Place the piece of Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper on top of the Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, rub it onto the some areas of the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper in circular motions. Get more ink on the dauber as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want. Leave some areas without ink.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Daubers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Rub a different Sponge Dauber across the open Bermuda Bay Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, rub it onto the some of the uninked areas of the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper in circular motions. Get more ink on the dauber as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want. Let the ink overlap the Lemon Lime Twist inked areas some. Leave some areas without ink.

Rub a different Sponge Dauber across the open Emerald Envy Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, rub it onto the remaining uninked areas of the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper in circular motions. Get more ink on the dauber as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want. Let the ink overlap the Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay inked areas.

Use a clean tissue or paper towel to buff off excess ink.
Adhere the inked designer paper piece to the large Emerald Envy rectangle. Then, adhere it to the front of the card so the top edge is about 1/4" from the top edge of the Bermuda Bay layer and the right edge is about 1/4" from the right edge of the Bermuda Bay layer.
Place the white square of cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the bird body image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Emerald Envy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Mount the full tail with space for the body to be stamped inside it image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the bird body image so the bird body is in the blank space in the tail.
Use the Bermuda Bay Marker to color in the wing on the bird's body.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped peacock image into the punch. Center the peacock in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the peacock circle to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left corner of the designer paper piece.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the strip of Emerald Envy cardstock. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Emerald Envy cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Emerald Envy showing on top).
Pick out the "amazing" thinlit from the Celebrate You Thinlits. Place it on top of the Emerald Envy piece on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the "amazing" cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the peacock circle on the right side and the bottom loop of the "g" is just at the bottom of the designer paper layer.
Cut an 8" piece of the Bermuda Bay 1/8" Ribbon from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack.
Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the bottom right of the peacock circle where it meets the bottom of the matted designer paper layer.
