B each Happy stamp set and using marbles and reinkers to create background
Project Recipe
Cut Melon Mambo CS to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Score at 4 1/4" on the 8 1/2" side and fold in half.
Cut Whisper White CS to 5 1/4" x 4".
Put to side for later.
Using a scrap piece of Very Vanilla CS, stamp the beach chair/umbrella, beach tote with Memento black and the sentiment with Melon Mambo.
I then used Melon Mambo (umbrella), Coastal Cabana (beach chair) , and Daffodil Delight (beach tote).
Cut out using stitched rectangle die, cut out the beach chair scene.
Using the next larger stitched rectangle, cut a piece of Melon Mambo CS.
Using adhesive of choice, attach Very Vanilla to the Melon Mambo.
Using a flat container with sides, add a drop or two of each color to the container.
Then, using 3-4 marbles, roll them around in the container. Try not to roll them too much or colors will muddy.
Place the piece of Whisper White CS into the container making sure the marbles are on top of it.
Roll the marbles around again to your satisfaction.
Voila! Background done!
I found that when I saw the side of the CS that was placed face down in the container, I loved the look of the splotches!
I then laid it back in the container with the marbles and rolled a little bit.
Attach your new background paper to the Melon Mambo Card.
Attach your scene to the Background paper.
Easy Peasy, done!
