Project Recipe
Cut your card base from a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Cut to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2", and then score at 4 1/4". Fold in half, and burnish the crease with bone folder.
Cut a piece of whisper white cardstock to 5 1/4" X 4" and adhere to the inside of the card.
Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 5 1/4" X 4". Emboss, using the Cobwebs 3D embossing folder . Now adhere to the front of your card using Stamp & Seal.
Take a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock, using the Halloween Magic Night dies, cut 1 large tag and set aside.
From the same die set, cut a small tag using a piece of DSP from the Magic In This Night collection. I chose the black/grey/white flowers, but just about any of this collection would work nicely. Once you have cut the small tag, you can adhere to the Pretty Peacock tag using liquid glue-this will allow you to slide it perfectly into a centered position.
Cut a 3 1/2" to 4" piece of Metallic Mesh ribbon. position where you want it on the card, and adhere the tags over top of it. There are of course variations, you could always tie a bow and place else where, or tie it around the end of tag, the possibilities are endless. It's beautiful ribbon and makes gorgeous bows.
Take a piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut 1" X 3 1/4". Using the Banners pick a punch, crop the ends outwards. If you crop them inwards you may not have room for the sentiment. Now using Pretty Peacock ink stamp Happy Halloween centering along the banner.
Take another piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut a 1 1/2" circle using Stitched Shaped Dies. Now take Blackberry Bliss ink and stamp Magic In The Night sentiment.
Time to get batty!!! Using the Halloween Magic Die set, take a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and cut the 3 small bats from the die set. Now take Black Glitter paper and cut the 2 large bats from the die set.
Using stampin' dimensionals, adhere the Happy Halloween banner across the card about 3/4ths of the way down. We want to leave room at the top for our big bat. After adhering, place 2 Iridescent Pearls on the banner. Now adhere the Magic in this Night circle sentiment. I did not pop this, but you can...it's YOUR card :-)
Now using stampin' dimensionals you can adhere your bats. You may have to cut a dimensional in half for the smaller bats. The only bat I did not use dimensionals on is the one on the Happy Halloween banner, I used liquid glue to adhere that lil guy. Look at that, you have made a beautifully detailed Halloween Card. I hope you enjoyed this.
