Basic Card- Perfect for newer stampers
Step it Up by adding the slider- Perfect for intermediate level stampers.
Step it Up again by adding embossing to the slider layer- Perfect for intermediate/advanced level stampers.
Remove backing paper from adhesive sheet and apply to back of Basic Black cardstock.
Using the Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform, die-cut door hardware with the Sliding Door framelit dies.
Remove backing paper from bar and adhere to 4" x 5-1/4" Crumb Cake cardstock layer.
Stamp door image from the Barn Door stamp set in Early Espresso ink on 3-3/4"x 2-3/4" Crumb Cake cardstock.
Using the Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform, die-cut door with the Sliding Door framelit dies.
Step it up: for a more advanced card, add highlights to the door with the light and dark Crumb Cake Blends.
Remove backing paper from door hardware and adhere to door.
Adhere door to Crumb Cake layer with mini dimensionals.
Stamp full wreath image from the Barn Door stamp set on scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock in Early Espresso ink.
Stamp partial wreath image from the Barn Door stamp set on scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Using the Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform, die-cut images with the Sliding Door framelit dies.
Adhere die cut pieces together with snail adhesive.
Adhere wreath to front of Crumb Cake layer with mini dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment from the Barn Door stamp set in Early Espresso ink on 2-1/4" x 2" Very Vanilla cardstock.
Adhere Very Vanilla layer to card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Fold 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Crumb Cake cardstock in half for card base.
Adhere 4" x 5-1/4" Crumb Cake layer to card front with mini dimensionals to complete the card front.
Stamp sentiment from the Barn Door stamp set in Early Espresso ink on 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla cardstock.
Adhere Very Vanilla layer to inside of card with SNAIL adhesive to complete the card.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Using the Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform, die-cut 4" x 5-1/4" Crumb Cake cardstock with the Sliding Door framelits to create the slider channels.
If you want to step it up a bit more, add some texture with the Simple Stripes embossing folder.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Remove backing paper from bar and apply to Crumb Cake layer just above the top die-cut channel.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Using the 1/2" circle punch, punch (8) circles from scrap cardstock.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Apply a mini dimensional to the center of (4) of the punched out circles.
Place 2 circles behind the channel so the dimensional is displaying and slide them to the far left of the channel.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Remove backing paper from dimensionals and adhere punched circles to the top side of the channel.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Repeat on the far right side of the channel.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Adhere the far left side of the door to the punched circles with mini dimensionals.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Slide the door over to the far right. Adhere the far right side of the door to the punched circles with mini dimensionals.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Removing backing paper and apply foam strips to back of Crumb Cake layer. You want the strips close to the channel, but need to be sure you are leaving enough room for the punched circles to freely slide along the channel.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Fold 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Crumb Cake cardstock in half for card base.
Remove backing paper from foam strips and adhere Crumb Cake layer to card front.
Step it up- adding the slider:
Adhere Very Vanilla layer to card front with SNAIL adhesive.
