A slightly more masculine version of the previous card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer series paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Tranquil Tide Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Card Stock
- 2-1/4" x 4" of blue circles on dark green background design from Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper
- scrap of Gold Foil Sheets at least 1-1/4" wide
- scrap of Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock at least 1-1/2" square
Mount the "another year" sentiment from the Balloon Adventures Photopolymer Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the top of the vanilla rectangle about 1/4" from the top.
Use the brush tip of the Lemon Lime Twist Marker to carefully color in the letters of "another year."
Adhere the designer paper rectangle to the bottom of the stamped vanilla rectangle.
Cut a 5" piece of the Gold 1/4" Natural Trim.
Lay the ribbon piece across the card front so it hides the seam between the designer paper and the card stock. Flip the card front over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere them in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ends.
Adhere the card stock/designer paper rectangle to the front of the Tranquil Tide card.
Unlock the 1" Circle Punch. Slide the scrap of Gold Foil Sheet inside and punch.
Pick out the small circle thinlit from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits that cuts out an x with a four pronged flower across it shape. Place the square of Lemon Lime Card Stock on the Precision Plate on top of your Platform on your Big Shot. Place the thinlit on top in the center. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the card stock if needed.
Slide the card stock with the image cut into it into the open 1" Circle Punch so you can see the punching area. Line up the cut out inside the circle punching area and punch.
Use a Mini Glue Dot in the center of the cut out circle to adhere it to the center of the gold foil circle.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the circle stack to the card front so it is centered over the ribbon in the center of the card.
Adhere one of the gold stars from the Metallic Enamel Shapes in the center of the circle image.
Adhere one of the gold stars from the Metallic Enamel Shapes in the center of one of the circles printed on the designer paper in the lower right corner.
