Project Recipe
This was tricky but fun to make.
Begin with Whisper White regular cut a piece 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. In portrait orientation place a mark 1" from the left side across the bottom and 1" up the left side.
On the top right corner place a mark 1/4 inch from the right corner top edge and 1/4" on the right edge 1/4" from the top.
Place this on the paper trimmer and cut from the bottom mark to the top marks creating the shape you see on the card front.
Place this into the Brick and Mortor embossing folder so that the brick are going straight across. You may not be able to emboss the entire piece at one time so just place the part that didn't get embossed into the folder and emboss just that little bit not putting the entire piece through the machine a second time.
Cut the designer series paper piece 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.
Lay the embossed wedge onto the paper and lightly trace the edges with pencil.
Cut the dsp on the pencil lines and erase any marks that show.
Attach the Shaded Spruce 5.25 x 4 onto the whisper white base
Attach the top left corner of the dsp to the Shaded Spruce piece leaving a 1/16" border on the top and left edges.
Attach the white embossed piece butting the edge up tightly to the piece you just placed.
Attach the final piece butting it up to the white wedge.
Stamp the turtle with Momento black and color with various green blends pens
Stamp the Sentiment with Momento black ink and cut out with a stitched rectangle die. Ink the edges with a sponge dauber and Shaded Spruce ink. Attach with dimensionals.
