I got done with this card and decided to change the DSP- Inspiration from Brian King.
Project Recipe
I got all done and realized I did not use my favorite piece from the dies- you can see the front of the catalog for an example- it makes it look like notebook paper.
Here was my inspiration from Brain King
Fold the card base in half and trim off 1 1/2 from the right front.
Layer you 5 1/4 x 4 piece on the inside.
Pick your 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 piece of DSP- layer it onto your card.
My sample piece has a navy piece with small flowers- once I got done I liked the pieces I cut for you better if you like the navy piece ask me to cut you one.
Take your 8 1/4 x 3 1/2 piece of Granny Apple Green that is scored at 4 1/4 and attach the 4 1/4 part to the back of your card so that the 4 inch part comes around the front.
Attach your 3 1/4 x 1 pieces of DSP to the wrap around part of the Granny Green. Making sure the colors stay lined up. (I cut them 1" so we would not waste paper)
If you don't like the colors in your paper trade with your neighbor. Or I can cut different colors I don't have much left to pick from.
You can add any color of Horizontal stripes you wish.
Pick either Pool Party or Daffodil to be your base (3 x 41/4) for the white piece that is 2 7/8 x 4 1/8.
Stamp words with Navy ink and attach pieces together and then to the card.
The dies will cut out the flowers.
Depending on your color choices for the background DSP you can pick the colors of your flowers.
You get ONE big flower and ONE little flower
and the leaves around them- if you are near a 1/2 flower don't waste it use it too.
Wink of Stella the flowers and place on your card
