T he Aspen Tree die is almost magical, it can be used on so many cards. On my blog you will find it used for a Halloween and a sympathy card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Balmy Blue 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut dotted paper from Snowflake Specialty Vellum paper pack 4 X 5 ¼. There are two dotted papers in this pack, vellum or metallic, either will work with this card.
Card Front: Cut silver dotted paper from Silver & Gold Sale-a-bration paper pack 4X 5 ¼. Die cut front with oval tree die in the Aspen Tree Die. Attach this die cut card front to the dotted paper card mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use the largest label die in the Joyful Flurry die set to cut a label from Balmy Blue. Stamp sentiment from Joyful Flurry stamp set with black ink on the die cut label. Attach the stamped label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp sentiment from Joyful Flurries stamp set with black ink on the Basic White card insert.
