I love the look of the leaves in this die, but you can also trim them off to get just the stitched edge, like I did for this floral paper. This card used our gorgeous Dainty Flowers DSP, which you can get for FREE with a qualifying during Sale-a-Bration.
Project Recipe
Cut the following layers:
• Rich Razzleberry Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
• Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
• Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"; 2-3/4 x 1-1/4"
• Dainty Flowers DSP: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" (card front); 4" x 5-1/4" (inside card)
Die cut Mossy Meadow layer as shown in photo.
Die cut DSP for card front--match placement of die with Mossy Meadow, and then move die about 1/8" down and 1/8" to the left. Trim off the die cut leaves with Paper Snips.
Cut 5" of Polished Pink ribbon, and colour with Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends. Wrap around DSP, and tape to the back.
Adhere curved DSP layer to Mossy Meadow layer. Place over card front, and trace curved edge (between leaves) onto the Rich Razzleberry card base, and trim with Paper Snips. Adhere Mossy Meadow layer to Rich Razzleberry card front.
Stamp sentiment with Rich Razzleberry, and die cut with Stylish Shapes banner die. Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Die cut 4" x 5-1/2" Basic White insert to match card front shape. Stamp inside as shown with second generation (stamped-off) Mossy Meadow ink. Adhere to inside of card over DSP.
