F ourth card for the April 2019 alternates
Project Recipe
Card base is Mint Macaron cut at 4 1/4. When folded in half this card opens to the left for a little something different, but still a standard size.
You will need a white layer cut at 5 x 3 3/4
Top layer is a coral envelope cut to 4 3/4 x 3 1/2
You can adhere those 3 together.
This step you will make the layered fishtail pieces.
Use one of the water-colored looking pieces from the kit. Cut it to 1 1/2 " wide and about 4" long.
On top of that one will be a piece from the Saffron card you cut up for card one. That piece is 1" wide and 4" long (trim down to the length you want between your layers, maybe 31/2 or so)
The top layer is a white scrap that measures 1/2" wide. Stamp your words on there in a green that will match you leaves.
Layer these 3 with your desired spacing and then snip the end off so it will be covered by the flower.
Stamp the flower in Flirty Flamingo and add a set of leaves as well (mint macaron). Cut this out. I stamped a second set of leaves and cut them out to put with the flower for additional dimension. I did not blend the color on the petals for this card, but you certainly can.
Cut the flower and leaves out and using dimensionals, adhere to the front of the card, covering the back edge of the fish tail layers.
I used a dark ink and the little dotted stamp and just inked a few of the dots and put them in the center of the flower.
