T hanks Leesa Rogers Hagen for the fun fold and Terry Bouquet for the refresh of a technique
Project Recipe
First, you need to do your tye dye effect with the re-inkers and shaving cream- so it has time to dry.
Place shaving cream on a paper plate- smooth it out with a ruler.
Drop a few drops of pink into the cream and move around with an old pencil or paintbrush.
Use this to die your small piece of pink CS.
Then mix that in, so your cream has a pink base. Now drop in more pink and the Bermuda Bay ink and mix again.
Die your quarter sheet of white.
Scrap off extra cream and let dry.
Once your died pink CS is dried, punch out the wings and add the black dots with black ink. Punch out the body from Black CS and glue it together. I only glued the top of the wings so you could curl them up a bit if you wanted.
Make your flower buy punching 2 flowers from white CS and using the yellow CS that I have already died for the center.
Cut your died white piece as follows: You will end up with extra.
2 3/4 x 2 3/4
3 /4 x 4 (wider if you pick different words)
1/2 x 2 3/4
Fold your 3 x 6 piece of white CS in half to make a 3 x 3 square.
Now fold the bottom right corner to the top left corner of only the front of your card.
Unfold and lay flat: Glue your 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 piece of Bermuda Bay with your died piece attached to ONLY THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE FRON TOF THE PIECE.
Layer your choice of words stamped with black on white CS to the died piece layered with Bermuda.
For the final step so your mini card will stay open. Attach a dimensional to the inside of the mini card and cover it with a circle- cut from Bermuda or a scrap of your died piece.
